Karesansui - phase one
The trenchdigging of a fortnight ago has borne its first fruits: the first phase of what I hope will be a freestyle karesansui - as a part of our front garden. This is the dry pond. My guess is that I will not get past phase one this year.

Wondering if it's a finer grade of gravel wanted than what you're using at the moment, to get what I gather is the desired effect of a visually neutral/negative field?
This is a nice idea. (Speaking as someone who delights in houses & watching home take shape.) Hope you'll indeed post on further phases, somewhere down the road.
